Experience
Remember when CD-R media cost over $7.00 a disc?  Diversified’s first customer for custom printed optical media, Xerox Corporation, ordered 100 74 minute CD-R with a custom 2-color screen-print.  The year was 1995, the total cost for the 100 printed discs was $850.00, it took several hours to print and dry the media, and the customer was delighted with the end result.  Fast forward to 2008, media prices have fallen significantly, Diversified now offers DVD-R as well as CD-R printing services, we can print up to 6,000 discs in several hours, and most important of all – the customers are still delighted with the end result.

Capability
Diversified Systems provides a number of high quality solutions for custom printed CD-R and DVD-R media that fit low, medium, and high volume requirements of our clients.  We operate two fully automated 5-color screen-printing systems and two fully automated full color digital presses for high volume, direct to disc printing.  Daily capacity for silk-screen printing exceeds 80,000 units and for digital printing 40,000 units.  Lower volume requirements are handled with single and full color digital printing, or full color inkjet printing.  Each customer application is different.  Diversified Systems representatives work closely with you to find the optimum solution that provides superior printing, timely delivery and still meets your budget.

Service
With our knowledge of custom printing, machine capacity, and readily available media, we generally are able to turn jobs within 4-5 working days from receipt of proof approval.  Reruns typically run in 3-4 working days from receipt of order.

If you need assistance, Diversified provides a full complement of graphic design and support services to assist our clients in producing the best artwork possible.  Final printing results depend heavily on having good, clean artwork right from the start.  Templates are available on our website as is a direct file UPLOAD routine for electronic transmission of customer artwork.  All artwork is pre-flighted and proofed with the client before printing commences.  We support all major design programs on both Macintosh and Windows platforms.
